What an employee says about online coaching

“I was immediately excited about online coaching. For me it was a welcome opportunity to look at the things I was struggling with together with a professional. Because it takes place online and because each session is relatively short, it didn’t take up much of my time and I was able to fit it into my schedule. During the sessions themselves, the psychologist got to the heart of the matter quickly, so that we could take steps right away.

I learned to listen more to my feelings

I learned to listen to my feelings more. I have a huge sense of responsibility and that was a heavy burden for me. Thanks in part to the right guidance and questions, I was able to get to my feelings and insight fairly quickly. Because of this there was also a release, the burden fell off me. The following days I became very aware of this. It is very useful to become aware of your ingrained patterns. Most people think they know what their pitfalls are, I thought so too. But I really needed someone to make me aware of them again. You can’t change that old behavior on your own.

Advantage of online coaching

I did not find it troublesome at all that the sessions took place online and not face-to-face. I did notice that it is important to take your privacy moment, so that you cannot be disturbed during the session. Only then can you come to yourself much better. I recommend an online coaching program to everyone. Even if you are struggling at home. Every now and then I see colleagues struggling with the current situation that keeps changing and draw their attention to the possibility of making use of such a program. In my opinion, this is a great way to get to the core quickly, so that you can function better again, at home and at work.
